There are many times when a game and a movie intertwine and you get to have a fully interactive, unique and very exciting experience. And that’s what you get with Daemon_9. At its core, this is a game with lots of interactivity and the focus is to make the story more interesting, immersive and a lot of fun to explore.

Great story

It’s basically a mix of high quality FMV content and point and click exploration. That really pushes the boundaries, it makes the gameplay more immersive and the attention to detail that you get from this is very good. You are taking the role of a woman that investigates a murder. Apparently two best friends ended up covering up a murder case and you need to figure out who did that and how you can deal with this sort of thing quickly and as fast as possible.
What we noticed with Daemon_9 is the fact that this is an extremely creative story. You will have all types of alternate reality games and you will even visit outside sites. All of these are crafted really well and you will have all types of ideas and creative moments that you need to push through in order to take things to that next level. Sites like that have their own ideas and you will find yourself having to pull through as you complete everything. It’s working really well and all that adaptability and great set of features really pushes things to the next level all the time.

The gameplay is very immersive

We like Daemon_9 because it’s fun and also brings in a new way to experience games. FMV content is always great when it comes to playing it and you do get quite a lot of nostalgia here, which is always nice. The way the video sequences were shot makes them thorough and quite intense, but at the same time you get to figure out exactly what you need to do and what you can expect with all of that.
What you will also like with the game is that it’s really similar to watching a movie. While it can be a bit tricky at times, you do feel like you are an investigator. And it’s those situations where Daemon_9 really stands out most of the time. The game is not super difficult, if you are computer literate you will find yourself enjoying the experience quite a lot most of the time. But it’s a very interesting and intense opportunity, one that has the potential to pay off bigtime if you do it right.
Unfortunately the game doesn’t go for a grander scale and that’s quite unfortunate if you think about it. All these little ideas push things to the next level and you will find yourself trying to complete this challenging situation without pushing the borders too much. Of course there are some tricky situations when it comes to dealing with all kinds of stuff like this. But if you do it right the payoff alone can be among some of the best and that’s what you really need.

A short experience

Based on our Daemon_9 review experience, the game is quite short. It took 3 hours or so to play it. And people online seem to agree that anywhere from 2 to 4 hours would be the play time. Most people want more play time from an adventure game, so this is rather unfortunate if you think about it. But it does make sense and at the end of the day you will like the experience and tremendous attention to detail if you use it wisely here.
At the end of the day this game is very similar to watching a movie in many perspectives. It’s not easy to get into, but at the same time it can be very funny too, provided that you know how to enjoy it the right way. Right from the start you get to see that there’s a stellar, beautifully crafted experience. A lot of hard work went into creating this and they did a wonderful job bringing this story to fruition. Of course it depends whether you like it or not on many factors, but for the most part this is very interesting, rewarding and it really pushes the boundaries when it comes to quality and great attention to detail.

Is Daemon_9 a great game for you?

Daemon_9 isn’t all about action. If anything, it has a combination of gaming and real life video experiences. Which is great for you because you can express yourself and come up with some rather nifty, beautiful ideas that you can explore no matter what. While a lot of people like the idea of staying in a location and exploring all kinds of evidence, the game can also be rather closed and dull for some.
Which is why Daemon_9 is one of the games that a lot of people will like if they enjoy something different and creative. You will need to put your detective skills to the test to figure out what happens and what you can do in the end. And the game certainly pushes the boundaries here to make the gameplay a lot more fun and intense. Which is definitely the type of thing you always need in a situation like this.
So, should you play Daemon_9? For us this game was a lot of fun and the cinema experience is one of the nicest things you could have. It’s a great and innovative game with lots of twists and turns. It’s also super creative, which we like a lot, and the fact that you have so many cool ideas embedded in a single package also helps a lot.
Overall Daemon_9 is very good if you enjoy adventure games. As we mentioned earlier it doesn’t have a ton of action, nor do you need all of that. But if you enjoy games that are very interesting and full of creativity this is a great option to consider. And it’s quite affordable too!
